Job Responsibilities:
The Ambulatory Senior Nursing Director for Primary Care is responsible to support and sustain the mission and vision of Ambulatory Services, providing leadership for nursing practice and assuring healthy work environments. Senior Nursing Directors lead collaborative efforts with inter-professional teams to achieve the organizations strategic priorities and improve patient care safety and quality. Senior Nursing Directors are responsible for financial, personnel, and supply resource management; and empower others to improve processes based on patient/family needs, evidence for practice, prudent resource management.
Job Requirements:
- Master's degreerequired
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice or PhD preferred
- 7 or more years' experience of evidenced ability in organizational and practice leadership
- Current professional nursing licensure in Missouri AND Kansas required
- Specialty Nursing Certification required
- Expert personal computing and professional software skills required
