Position Summary

The Senior National Toxicology Manger for the Clinical Diagnostics Division will have the responsibility to attain the annual operating plans for the Toxicology and Drugs of Abuse portfolio. The designated geography will include the North America region, United States and Canada, and will report directly to the Sr. Director, Commercial Operations, North America. This role will actively engage in the strategies and tactics to deliver on goals and enable the field sales team to maximize growth and revenue attainment. They will also be indirectly responsible for funnel health for near-term revenue gains and new opportunities development to build a strong pipeline for future growth. This individual will apply Sales experience, Toxicology knowledge, product expertise, market intelligence, and leadership skills to grow sales and profitability. Remotely based within the designated region.

What will you do?

  • Attain Toxicology/DAU specific revenue and capital placement goals
  • Co-travel with field sales to aid in new and expand opportunity creation and acceleration of closed-won business
  • Create strategy and tactics to maximize market penetration and competitive takeaways
  • Spearhead inventory allocations with operations processes
  • Augment sales efforts including: prospecting, cultivating and maintaining key relationships to maximize volume and deliver sales goals
  • Consistently communicate with sales leadership on KPIs, pipeline health and market impact situations
  • Form strong Business Unit connections with solid working relationships
  • Moderate travel (70%) with national and regional conferences and tradeshow attendance requirements
  • Provide input regarding contract, pricing, delivery terms
  • Analyzes problems and raises potential issues to leadership in a timely manner
  • Monitor competition, market trends and develop business network participating in professional marketing events
  • Active engagement in PPI, Process Improvements


Experience

Previous experience with proven track record in medical sales, preferably Drugs of Abuse diagnostic market. Minimum of 10+ years of IVD selling experience.

Education

University bachelor's degree in related field (e.g. Life sciences, Biology, Marketing, Business) is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, DASH, Teams, SFDC
  • Strong understanding of toxicology testing and its applications
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
  • Ability to work under pressure while retaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while utilizing time management
  • Demonstrated confidence and initiative
  • Flexibility
