JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing day to day direction and leadership to staff and managing vendor relationships. Maintains product integrity and oversee development initiatives. Coordinate and collaborate with Charter Product, Engineering and Operations teams to ensure an optimal customer experience.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Provide overall direction for all areas of software development.

Plans, manages, and monitors video projects. Acts as primarycontact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

Establishes project management processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet high quality standards and Leadership expectations using the appropriate tools.

Provides team support and direction on shifting priorities for new and existing projects

Provide quality assurance support and direction to staff and vendors

Monitor and provide guidance in the budget process to ensure projects are cost effective, completed on time, and on budget

Develop an effective front line Leadership team and assist them with developing their direct reports as to drive a high performance culture and environment.

Establish positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support

Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable

Know, understand and follow company policy

Perform other duties as requested by manager


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to provide coaching and counseling when necessary
Ability to supervise and motivate others
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
Knowledge of company products and services
Knowledge of Electronic theory, Federal Communications Commission regulations and Fiber Optic theory
Demonstrated leadership qualities with proven ability to provide effective, results oriented direction
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E)
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within Company required standards

Related Work Experience
1+ year Project Management work experience preferred
2+ years of related supervisory experience preferred
5+ years of Software Development experience preferred
HFC and Networking experience preferred.
