Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess training needs through detailed analysis of impacts of change initiatives and programs
  • Design role-based learning & development strategy and plan, standards and protocols that address the end to end capability requirement of each role
  • Plan and deploy a wide variety of innovative training methods, tools and techniques based on understanding of the learning needs
  • Manage the overall design and creation of learning & development deliverables including curriculums and course materials leveraging advanced design/development techniques and tools to suit learning needs of the target audience
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing revision to course materials to address identified issues/concerns and tailor training programs as necessary
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices to incorporate in learning and development programs
  • Develop longer-term strategy and plan to incorporate changes as a result of future enhancements into learning and development programs
  • Manage training development and delivery resources to ensure adherence to standards and approval protocols
  • Work closely with program team to ensure effective and efficient integration of the training effort into the overall implementation plan
  • Oversee coordination of training logistics plan, including training delivery facilities and schedules
  • Manage the integration of all learning and development materials into the Learning Management Systems
  • Design, implement and manage a Train-the-Trainer program to drive consistency in training delivery
  • Create a mechanism for gathering and analyzing feedback on training effectiveness, identify training gaps for the purpose of improving individual/team performance and monitor, evaluate and report training programs effectiveness success periodically
  • Oversee the accuracy and effectiveness of all training systems and sandboxes, defining and managing training environment refresh process, building transactional and master data as necessary to support instructional design
  • Work with instructional design and learning management system vendors as appropriate to drive learning and development agenda

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with formal training in instructional design and/or adult learning preferred
  • 8 years learning and development consulting experience with a global consulting firm
  • Experience leading learning and development for large scale ERP transformation effort for a global matrix organization
  • Experience working with a global matrix L&D team to build instructional design and learning models that align with internal Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Experience assessing learning and development needs, developing strategies and plans, designing curriculum, developing online learning modules, live web-based sessions, instructor-led training guides, supporting materials and tracking progress
  • Experience using a variety of tools for training development, delivery and monitoring to maximize learning e.g Captivate, Articulate etc.
  • Experience using visual communication skills to bring together text, images, video and audio to create blended learning user experience
  • Proven track record of applying project management and organization skill to effectively prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects to achieve business objectives
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate difficult concepts and processes using clear and simple language and visuals
  • Deep experience designing and developing learning programs across various delivery mediums. Including in-person training, remote and online modules
  • Proven track record managing a training service provider to deliver tailored solution
