The Marketing Research Analyst Sr provides support on the execution of Voice of the Customer and Market Research initiatives, of which drive GAF’s overall Brand, Product, Advertising, Marketing and Customer Program strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

50% Market Research

  • Partners with senior Insights resources and outside vendors to conduct relevant market research projects
  • Presents data to business owners, as well as senior management, to give insight on our business
  • Supports other departments research needs on request including, but not limited to Contractor Programs, HR, Learning and Development and Events.
  • Develops and launches quantitative and qualitative in-house research studies, conducts analysis, delivers results
  • Partners with the direct marketing team, marketing services and legal to launch surveys to our customer database

50% Brand Development Support

  • Support customer facing branding and communication initiatives through research to ensure consistent execution and alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Supports online community creation, execution and management
  • Supports User Experience testing
  • Supports brainstorming initiatives

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Experience with Excel (advanced), PowerPoint (advanced), and Word (advanced)
  • Experience with Qualtrics or other online survey tools (intermediate)
  • Experience with Usertesting.com and/or other UX testing software desired.
  • Experience conducting analysis and sharing actionable insights (intermediate)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing or General Management
  • 5-7 years of related experience in marketing, marketing research or marketing analytics
