POSITION OVERVIEWThe Sr. Marketing Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategies and initiatives through data analysis and insights generation. This position is responsible for managing and optimizing the monthly media budget, consumer awareness marketing tactics, and projected return on investment across business units. The Sr. Marketing Analyst maintains ownership of daily optimization of business unit health against key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring accurate management of spend.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Actively manage the marketing spend of consumer awareness tactics and ecommerce product revenue, overseeing a portfolio of paid and organic tactics (Search, Meta, TikTok) across business units.
- Measure key performance metrics such as ROI, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and customer lifetime value (CLV).
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing acquisition, retention and loyalty campaigns.
- Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for optimizing campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collect, clean, and organize marketing data from multiple sources including CRM systems, web analytics tools, social media platforms, and third-party vendors.
- Estimate projected conversion rates of marketing tactics and assess the likely return on investment (ROI) for business units.
- Conduct analysis on business unit and product health, identifying trends impacting key performance indicators (KPIs), and highlighting any significant discrepancies versus expectations.
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to establish the monthly paid digital marketing strategy and budget allocation across business units.
- Develop detailed marketing plans monthly, outlining strategies, tactics, and budget allocations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct market research to gain insights into industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior.
- Synthesize research findings to inform marketing strategies and identify new growth opportunities, contributing to the overall strategic planning process.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree required (preference for fields related to business, economics, or mathematics).
- 4-7 years of experience in marketing, analytics, or relevant business roles involving data-driven problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of Excel, with some previous exposure to SQL or other database management systems.
- Experience working with media engines such as Adwords and Meta, web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, and data visualization tools including Tableau and PowerBI.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in problem-solving, with the ability to balance creativity and analytical skills effectively.
- Experience in the pharmaceuticals, health, or wellness industry a plus.
