Develop and Deploy operational excellence strategies for Warehouse implementation. Partner with global distribution team and
peer groups in the region (Transport, Materials, Services, Project Business,
etc.)
Design and develop warehouse network strategy for optimizing storage capacity and improving team member productivity for both short term flexibility and long-term growth. Leverage warehouse network team to support these goals.
Develop new local and global best practices by utilizing extensive warehouse expertise, broad logistics business knowledge, and consulting with global counter-parts as well as external specialists.
Design and conduct training of new standardized processes and system applications resulting from projects; monitor effectiveness of training at user levels for adherence to new process / future best practice; approve training for areas that will have process changes due to system or process changes
Utilize SAP, Business Warehouse (BI), Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint to conduct analysis regarding the scope of opportunity of a potential project and set target for improvement; follow project execution, create, update, and distribute reports to measure success of implementation changes and determine impact of improvement efforts
Directly lead process team members and indirectly all warehouse leaders to implement solutions outlined above.
Direct ownership of ICS (Internal control system) processes, BPPM (Best Practice Process
Management), and Safety Policies within warehousing team.
Ensure continuous communication with internal team members, process managers, and global counter parts in other Marketing Organizations; update Global Process Management System (GPMS) as required if impacted by new process information; prepare and deliver communication of new process and procedures for multiple audience levels within the organization
Critical Deliverables of the role and the associated execution plans of the direct/indirect teams are:
Drive Quality improvements supporting customer loyalty (e.g. reduce the customer complaint rates, increase inventory accuracy) and increase Warehouse Productivity (e.g. OPEX Costs % of Sales, Lines Per Hour)
Enable best in class warehouse performance and operational support for the company’s logistics and sales teams.
Generate robust warehouse network optimization plan to achieve consistent year over year productivity which will result in significant reduction in warehousing costs as percentage of net sales.

What you need is:

Bachelor’s degree,required
o MBApreferred, Industrial engineering degree also preferred

Minimum Seven (7) years’ experience, required, to include:
o Experience in leadership roles responsible for operational and/or process improvement team members.
o Significant exposure and experiences in working with warehouse design & systems
o Experience with lean and/or six-sigma especially in environments where the journey was
beginning/evolving.
o Experience living and/or working abroad in a global organization
o Formal Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications or equivalent experience, required
