Responsible for direction and management of supply chain processes and final product output in a third party (3PL) “Regional Hub” distribution environment. Manages a team of supply chain professionals responsible for Customer Premise Equipment (“CPE”), Materials, and Quality management disciplines. Responsible for managing the output and service quality of the facility through direct interaction with Charter 3PL partners, Charter Supply Chain Management, Charter Field Operations Management, vendors, and other entities with a stakeholder or operationally-contributing status in the operation.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides active and consistent support to Field Operations, Retail, and other Charter consumers via delivery of CPE and plant materials at sustained high levels of quality, accuracy, and in volumes required to support variable business demands.
Provides direction, collaboration, and support to reporting staff and other operational entities on the development and implementation of supply chain processes and practices. Project-manages initiatives to refine or install supply chain management tools.
Actively monitors CPE inventory positioning, and, with interaction from Charter Supply Chain personnel, manages the forecasting and intra-company cross-leveling of CPE and materials to ensure uninterrupted supplies availability.
Manages forward deployments of new and used CPE and related peripherals to end users, directs returns and repair logistics, and assures that production throughput, functional, and cosmetic quality are sustained at acceptable and prescribed levels.
Manages the introduction of new CPE models and implements changes to required staging codes and firmware loads on existing CPE equipment. Directs new and/or modified end-user peripheral needs and changes required in finished goods packaging. Ensures successful launch of new models with lowest possible field impact from launch or from changes in functional technology affecting older CPE units.
Directs plant materials forecasting, stocking, order fill, and delivery. Delivers highest levels of accuracy in all facets of materials receipt, stocking, order fulfillment, and returns processing. Manages perpetual inventory processes and works to minimize inventory investment.
Manages excess and obsolete inventories and administrates all functions surrounding the sale and disposition of capital assets per established company policies.
Manages local transportation network including dedicated, common carrier, parcel, and delivery services, including route planning, scheduling, process, and business continuity aspects. Responds to routine and unplanned business needs with viable transportation options.
Oversees development and testing of the inventory control applications, billing systems audits and tools; develops and plans distribution of required reports for supply chain executives.
Conducts daily/weekly/monthly reviews of inventory including compiling statistical information on usage, loss, transfer, etc., to establish and implement standards.
Analyzes material requirements and plans for forward technology migrations; responsible for the design of forecasting methodologies and audits for key products; assists in product standardization efforts.
Utilizing available reporting tools, implements sustained reviews of 3PL vendor and transportation provider(s) performance against established KPIs and other required performance metrics including transactional quality, invoicing integrity, cycle turns, inventory accuracy, shrinkage, on-time delivery, and procedural compliance. Manages and administrates Vendor Corrective Action processes.
Directs physical inventory exercises in the following capacities; training, counting, and auditing at Charter Communications sites.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related
field, or equivalent experience
