Provide leadership and strategic thinking to the quality of customer and patient promotional materials. As Senior Manager, RTG Promotional Labeling, you will be will be responsible for the promotional materials review, approval and distribution lifecycle across RTG, and partner closely with global RTG leaders, including General Managers, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Legal, and Clinical. You will lead a team focused on policies, processes, procedures, and compliance with the evolving and complex U.S. and global requirements of the medical device industry.

A Day in the Life

As Senior Manager, RTG Promotional Labeling you will provide guidance, direction, and leadership for the processes that provides review and approval of RTG’s external communications.

Lead change management efforts required to implement and maintain ongoing process compliance
Develop metrics and process enhancements to drive operational excellence and improved quality to balance the process with the fast-paced, high-volume business needs
Own QMS documents necessary to ensure functional activities conform with QMS requirements within and across RTG
Provide partnership to relevant RTG employees (authors, system admins and approvers) through training and support to ensure they are competent to perform their roles, and understand the requirements associated with those roles
Ensure conformance with QMS requirements within the functions involved and correcting any deficiencies
Ensure advertising and promotional labeling materials are appropriately reviewed for compliance to applicable policies, rules, and regulations
Develop, in partnership with BU leaders, an escalation path for all process deviations and possible process non-conformances, including an escalation point for functional disagreement(s)and non-compliance
Define process and tracking for resource demands required to implement and sustain the new processes.

Ensure visibility and communication of progress to move to desired future state and change management actions to address barriers
Demonstrate sound understanding of internal and applicable external policies, procedures and standards, and ensure they are applied as required

Must Have: Minimum Qualifications

§ Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in a regulated industry (e.g., FDA-regulated, FAA-regulated, DoD, CMMI ML 3+).

§ 5+ years of managerial experience

§ Deep understanding of quality systems, internal and external audit, and the CAPA process

§ Experience in an operational role using data and metrics to drive change

§ Excellent communication and collaboration skills

§ Strategic and innovative mindset

§ Strong coaching and people management skills
