JLL is seeking an energetic self-motivated Senior Project Manager to join our team on a premier financial account to manage new construction projects throughout an assigned region. The selected candidate will be expected to manage multiple construction projects at one time and to meet or exceed established goals including speed to market, data quality & budget. The candidate’s primary focus will be on the specific needs of the project, client, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders but will also be required to support Team and Client initiatives for process improvement and personal career development. The selected candidate will also be required to track project financials and schedulereported status regularly.

  • Min 10 years experience in Commercial Real Estate Industry.
  • Min 7 years experience as a PM (ideally most recent experience as SPM).
  • Min 3 years experience managing retailnew construction projects
  • Architectural, Engineering, Interior Design or Construction Management academic background.
  • Job requires only local travel within the Tri-State area.
  • Candidate could manage up to 10 new construction projects on any given year (4 - 6 projects at a time)
  • Projects would be for new construction and/or relocation of retail branches
  • Expectation is that candidate would manage project from A to Z, including Due Diligence, Scoping, Budgeting, Scheduling, Vendor Engagement/Management, Client Communication and Construction Management.
  • Looking for individuals who posses the following skillset: Organized, Disciplined, Self-Driven, Action Oriented, Problem Solvers, Take Initiative and Great Communicators.
  • Candidate should be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, with very special attention to MS Excel and MS Project. Proficiency in MS Project is a must. 
  • Ideally, candidate would be based out of the Brooklyn office, but working remote is negotiable
