The Project Management Office is a critical Store Development function that leads cross-functional teams including Architecture & Engineering, Finance, Real Estate Field, Real Estate Law, and Construction.  The team acts as the “quarterback” in driving projects from inception, through due diligence and approvals, into construction and store opening.  The Sr. Manager of Project Management is a well-rounded professional who is versed in all aspects of real estate pipeline activities; is able to exemplify collaborative team spirit and influence/build successful business partner relationships.  The Sr. Manager of Project Management will oversee a portfolio of ~75 projects, across 1-2 regions encompassing all brands.
Portfolio Management:

  • Collaborate with Finance and within PMO on the annual brand portfolio plan and communicate status regularly.
  • Oversee entire portfolio within assigned regions and brands
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with peers or above to resolve issues/risks.
  • Ability to confidently command meetings, and clearly present issues and solutions.
  • Ability to consistently drive clarity and lead challenges to solutions.
  • Accurately track data that contributes to status, conclusions, or recommendations, through standard or ad-hocreports.
  • Contribute recommendations to trends and process improvements based on data tracked through PMO team.
  • Manages communication of critical cross-functional opportunities and challenges as needed, as well as cyclical status updates

High Profile/Complex Projects Management:

  • Lead and participate in coordination of pre-Real Estate Committee activities (cost, schedule, risks) to inform Real Estate decisions.
  • Act as the team leader in uniting cross-functional business partners to solve for a common goal.
  • Develop the most optimal project strategy that aligns cross-functional activities to deliver store opening.
  • Problem solve with options to find optimal strategy that incorporates cross-functional needs.
  • Lead and manage high profile/flagship projects across functions.
  • Identify and elevate risks via timely, clear and concise communication.
  • Ability to confidently command meetings, and clearly present issues and solutions.


  • Minimum experience: 5 years project management related to real estate, architecture, engineering, construction
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction,  and/or applicable field; professional degreepreferred
  • Knowledge of retailconstruction and real estate pipeline
  • Excellence business acumen, or financial understanding
  • Willingness to learn from, and to teach others
  • Solid verbal and written skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrated initiative with ability to work independently and with teams interchangeably
  • Strong quantitative analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Proven track record to lead and manage projects to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize workload
  • Must have great attention to detail and work well under pressure
  • Must be comfortable with presenting to leadership teams and working in cross-functional teams
  • Is outspoken and has proven ability to influence across the organization.
