The Sr. Manager, Payments & Compliance is responsible for defining the business strategy, internal development and the management of Radial’s Payment Processing Partners and Payment Solutions. Responsibilities include defining the go to market strategy and then executing the development and launch of our payment solutions by working cross functionally with our product and internal stakeholders (legal, finance, product, information security, compliance, and our banking partners). Manages all strategic internal and external payment partners including business / contract negotiations, business reviews, pricing and renewals. Ensures compliance and audits are complete and accurate. Ensures that vendors and partner interchange and pricing costs are relevant and priced for Radial to succeed as a preferred payment partner for our merchant clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports all business activities and needs in relation to Radial’s payments business
  • Proactively identifies payment success criteria and works with the appropriate internal & external stakeholders to achieve success.
  • Drives and manages all associated tasks and requirements by working with legal, finance, treasury, technology, information security, compliance, and our external banking partners
  • Manages direct merchant clients & vendor relationships from conceptualizing the payment solution to driving and managing the successful rollout
  • Drives cross-functional integration with multiple stakeholders
  • Multi-tasks effectively and efficiently to manage multiple concurrent internal and external payment requirements.
  • Develops, implements and refines process improvements to enable Payment success
  • Grows knowledge on Payment Industry trends, best practices and client drivers / needs
  • Defines the strategy and manages interchange costing for all payment vendors and partners
  • Defines the strategy and implements custom reporting by working withinternal & external systems
  • Ensures that all defined policies are part of merchant onboarding and that ongoing due-diligence is followed
  • Manages and supports compliance audits as requested by external vendors
  • Acts as the primary point-of-contact for external vendors, track down documentation with all internal teams as needed
  • Defines timelines & sets proper and accurate expectations both internally & externally
  • Negotiates business deals, contracts and associated terms and pricing
  • Ensures that service level agreements are defined, updated and manage
  • Sets proper expectations with clients based on need and realistic and accurate timelines
  • Works globally with Non US business teams to manage our global client needs
  • Drives and manages applications for various payment business functions & gateway onboarding

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Payment / Gateway experience managing eCommerce partners and vendors
  • Bachelordegree or equivalent
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience managing business / payment partner relationships
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent client / partner relationships
  • 3 years of demonstrated contract / business deals / negotiation experience

Preferred Requirements

  • Master degree or advanced degree
  • 7-12 years of payment experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing business / payment partner relationships
