PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Support Lean Management Deployment and ongoing practices across IRPS to ensure adoption and use of Lean practices to achieve business goals on revenue growth, operating efficiency, and client satisfaction.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop the strategy for Business Unit operations transformation, secure buy-in on major initiatives amongst operational leadership

  • Identify existing processes and organizations with greatest transformational potential
  • Develop business cases reflecting economics, risk, associate impact, and client service

    Execute on business unit transformations using Lean management coaching, mentoring and training to in scope areas:

  • Organize, facilitate and lead project scoping sessions with business units; ensure proper projects (operational alpha, customer satisfaction, process transparency and metric development) are selected and scoped for Lean training
  • Coach and mentor associates on applying and executing Lean tools; assist with implementation and ongoing application of Lean Daily Management activities
  • Lead business unit in tracking, realizing and reporting projectbenefit and business impact

    Lead the development and deployment of Business Unit communications and change management on transformation initiatives

  • Create and maintain a plan to develop awareness at the People Leader and Associate level and generate interest before, during and after Lean training and transformation working sessions
  • Work closely with HR to ensure people managers have requisite deployment and sustainability resources; ensure business unit level deployment and sustainability HR-related issues are addressed in a timely fashion
  • Assist in the management of two-way communication between the business units and the Lean Management Program
  • Collaborate with Change Agents within the business units to understand and respond to change management, culture and adoption issues/concerns

    Participate in and evolve the Lean Management sustainability program to drive year over year improvement in performance:

  • Become a trainer for the TROWE Lean training material
  • Assist in the deployment of an enterprise wide problem solving system at the BU level
  • Ensure that TRP maintains a robust network within the broader external LEAN practitioner community
  • Participate in regular go-and-see visits at other leading companies (including, but not limited to other leading financial institutions) for senior and mid-level business leaders as well as members of the community of practice and bring forth those learnings to TROWE
