SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager, Procurement – Marketing and Procurement Operations will drive global sourcing strategies for key commodities and spend categories to achieve broad business objectives within the Marketing spend categories. Executes strategies for contracting, supplier management, business partnering and savings. Contributes to annual savings targets. Maintains and provides a current understanding of industry best practices and technology trends to team members and business partners.


•Leads execution of indirect procurement strategies for Marketing, including those for strategic sourcing, global category management, contracting, supplier management, and business partnering.

•Leads savings tracking and analysis process for Under Armour Global Indirect Procurement.

•Collaborates with business stakeholders to achieve savings targets to drive the best business outcomes.

•Formulates strategies to address feedback from business stakeholders to ensure objectives are met.

•Provides procurement perspective and makes recommendations leadership and business colleagues.

•Identifies and develops excellent working relationships with strategic business stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and to support the business in achievement of its outcomes.

•Provides support to the business in pursuit of business opportunities.

•Adherence to organizational policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with corporate governance.

•Supports complex negotiations for major contracts in partnership with the Director, Procurement.

Collaborates with business stakeholders to achieve savings targets to drive the best business outcomes.


•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

•Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred

•Eight or more years of supply chain related experience

•Five or more years of supervisory or management experience included

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•Proven success in managing a team of people

•Experience working with sourcing and contracting, strategic sourcing, category management and supplier management practices

•Experience working with a global company

•Experience working with company policies and procedures


•Strong organizational skills to balance and prioritize work

•Strong communication skills

•Strong human relations skills to select, develop, mentor, discipline and reward employees

•Strong negotiation skills

•Strong knowledge of applicable categories

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
