We have an excellent opportunity for highly motivated individual to assume the Senior Manager of Domestic Tax Compliance role within the Tax organization. You will be responsible for the US federal income tax compliance for the group and will liaise with the state and international tax compliance groups.nThe organization offers opportunity to be part of a growing tax department and manage tax compliance across the region.

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Primary responsibilities include:

  • You'll manage Federal income tax compliance processes, including domestic partnerships
  • Support the State income tax compliance process
  • Support Federal and State estimated tax payment processes
  • Support Plan, forecast, quarterly and year-end closing processes
  • Manage tax compliance systems' requirements and planning
  • You'll coordinate compliance co-sourcing resources
  • Support tax modeling process
  • Support federal audit group, as necessary
  • Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley controls' requirements
  • You'll establish and maintain standard methodologies template – ACE etc.
  • Responsible for providing primary input into staff development

Education / Certifications:

  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in accounting or finance area. An advanced tax degree and/or CPA preferred.
  • Experience with CorpTax, Longview and/or HFM software, a plus

Experience / Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of federal compliance experience in a large, multi-national, corporate tax or accounting firm environment, including 2-3 years of supervisory responsibility
  • Understand major steps in compliance process, from data sourcing through filing and tax account activity
  • In-depth understanding of tax systems' capabilities
  • Ability to identify and implement continuous process improvements
  • Understand impact of income taxes on the financial statements, and find opportunities to combine tax and accounting knowledge to improve business results
