Senior Manager of Global Benefits

We are currently seeking a Senior Manager of Global Benefits to join our Corporate Compensation & Benefits Team at Guidewire Software. This role will report to the Head of Global Total Rewards. On a global level, oversees, implements and administers all global benefits plans, programs, policies and processes for 19 countries. Knowledge/Skills

  • Extensive working knowledge managing and delivering global benefits programs
  • Strong understanding of benefit plan design within multiple geographies
  • Utilizes best practices within the software and tech industries
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience managing time off and leave programs
  • Keeps abreast of market trends, changes to legislation/regulations that impact benefit programs
  • Leads global benefit implementations and renewals
  • Experience automating benefits educational materials
  • Experience with managing US self-funded benefits

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drives strategic planning, design, implementation, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and administration of benefits programs and policies
  • Manages the Annual Benefit Open Enrollment Process including tool design (Workday) and process administration
  • Works with carriers and prepares employee communication materials and follow-up analysis
  • Harmonizes benefits programs in the Americas, EMEA, APAC and LATAM
  • Proactively partners with key stakeholders in HR, Finance, and Procurement
  • Implements continuous improvements with benefits and wellness programs
  • Ensures benefits programs provide a positive employee experience with education and clear communication
  • Ensures benefits programs are efficient and scalable
  • Manages EMEA/APAC Benefits Manager in our Dublin office

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in benefit design
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with international benefits
  • Software company experience preferred
  • An executive presence with the ability to influence senior management; and work across all levels of the organization
  • Collaborative business style to effectively build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Exceptional planning, consulting and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR or related field
  • Ability to prepare and deliver executive level presentations
