Position Title: Sr. Manager, Forecasting and Portfolio Analytics

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am -5:00pm, 40 Hours/ Week

Summary of Duties: Responsible for Life Cycle, Forecasting, and Forecasting Analytics. Accountable for the end-to-end demand and net revenue forecasting process, leveraging primary and secondary data to construct accurate and actionable forecasts using epi-based incidence/prevalence forecast models. Collect input and assumptions from various teams within the organization, including sales, marketing, trade, and market access. Define opportunities and risks associated with forecast. Use the latest forecasting tools, technologies, and methods to improve forecast accuracy. Create annual brand forecast and monthly and quarterly updates for the latest best estimate and update them regularly for accuracy. Closely track actuals against key forecast assumptions and determine reasons for variance. Work with multiple stakeholders to provide epi, incidence, prevalence, and other data & assumptions for the data-driven forecast model. Integrate market and customer insights from primary research and secondary data analytics. Develop long range planning forecasts, launch forecasts for strategic decisions. Develop assumptions and forecast of assumptions and brand sales for brand life cycle management activities. Ensure Tec Ops and Supply Chain teams have accurate quantities to manufacture. Effectively communicate results of forecast, assumptions and rationale for decisions to senior leadership and investor relations.

Qualifications:

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or Pharmaceutical Management and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered, as a Forecast Analyst, Forecast Consultant, Business Analyst, or a related occupation. Alternately, Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or Pharmaceutical Management and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as a Forecast Analyst, Forecasting Consultant, Business Analyst, or a related occupation.

The position requires experience (eight years with a Bachelor’s degree and six years with a Master’s degree) with the following skills: Forecasting, Analytics, Finance, Data Analysis, Strategy Consulting, or other quantitative fields; Leveraging industry standard forecasting models to develop business performance and sales forecasts. The position requires experience in the following skills: Developing forecasts using industry standard statistical techniques and specialized tools; Perform sensitivity analytics using simulation techniques; Epi-based incidence-prevalence forecast models; Patient funnel models; Experience with epi & patient-level data for forecasting; Proficiency in Excel, SQL, SAS, Access, and other forecasting, analytical, or reporting tools.
