Position Summary

The Lead, Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial and strategic decision support to the business to ensure achievement of short and long term financial goals. Partnering with senior management, this role facilitates the understanding of key business dynamics including productivity, relationships, models, trends, leading indicators and business statistics. In addition, provides financial consultation on key strategic priorities and support management reporting to the executive leadership team and Board of Directors. The Lead, Financial Analyst interacts frequently with the Chief Financial Officer and other senior business partners.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Conducts complex ad hoc financial analysis to aid Chief Financial Officer in the decision making process impacting both short and long term financial goals
  • Evaluates and presents strategic/operational analytics for review, discussion and implementation; ensures understanding of business dynamics which include productivity, relationships, model, trends, leading indicators and business statistics
  • Providesfinancial advisory and analyticalsupport ofstrategic initiatives, including:
    • P&L sensitivity and scenario modeling
    • Evaluation of business growth opportunities
    • Development of business case analysis framework that incorporates key performance metrics to assess and monitor the performance of the business, strategic investments and growth initiatives
  • Partners with global FP&A group to coordinate on key finance initiatives (budgeting, planning, forecasting)
  • Supports strategic planning and initiatives by providing financial modeling and reporting required for decision making and/or reviews financial analyses (business case) assumptions
  • Partners with global FP&A team in conducting analysis and building presentations to senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Partners with key stakeholders and business partners to align on business priorities and drive effective solutions/execution
  • Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting , Finance, Economics or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of prior experience in financial analysis and forecasting
  • Strong financial and strategic analysis skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of independent decision making and accountability, with ability to drive results and cross-team collaboration
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; highly organized
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase or similar software

  • MBA or Masters in Accounting, Finance or related field
