Responsible for providing direction and leadership to designated staff to implement and enhance consistent engineering practices to ensure stable product delivery aligned with company initiatives and expectations. Support Advanced Engineering Leadership with strategic planning and analysis, including development of key metrics to track and drive predictable delivery. Manage annual budget planning of both external and internal capital initiatives that AE sponsors or supports. Assist with business plan development and guide all project intake activities and tracking metrics. Ensure a high degree of cross functional communication and participation in line with product deployment and support, working closely with strategic partners across Charter.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Develops an effective team that drives a high performance culture and environment.
Lead capital budget planning process for all of AE working with leads from NEA, Video, Voice and AE Labs and executes approved budget plan.
Oversees AE Intake Processes of all new projects to ensure consistent streamlined processes that facilitates efficient and prioritized engagement of AE teams.
Lead the development of key metrics for tracking project deliverables, resource allocation and productivity improvements.
Evaluates and consults with all levels of leadership regarding strategic planning of new product or technology development and deployment.
Leads an innovative, collaborative work team to produce exceptional results delivering the customer experience.
Develop and manage relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and departments to ensure cohesive and collaborative communication.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives resulting in increased productivity, as well as scalable and efficient processes within Advanced Engineering.
Reviews selections on bids for contracted projects, and provide recommendations as necessary.
Leads and participates in succession planning.
Performs other duties as requested.
