Sr. Manager, Direct to Consumer & Ecommerce Marketing

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • New Ecommerce Business Development. Champion new and innovative ecommerce initiatives, aimed at creating additional revenue streams and helping us test new opportunities. The right person will have to work cross-functionally to build business plans and sell into senior management. Success will requirement tight partnership with our global brand teams and global technology team on the launch, execution, and optimization of new initiatives. Likely concepts include:

      Subscriptions:  We have some of the most dedicated fans any brand could ask for and we believe that we have an opportunity innovate the way we deliver products to our most dedicated fans. You’ll work with our brand teams to identify how we can create reoccurring revenue streams while provide a new service for our consumers.

    • New Brands: New brands is a major part of our growth strategy. You’ll work closely on these initiatives to make sure teams are thinking digital/eCommerce first and leverage these opportunities to test, build, and learn new direct-to-consumer approaches.

  • Global DTC, B2B, and Marketplace Strategy & Development. Partner with local non-North American markets to assess the right DTC, B2B, and marketplace solutions available in a country or region. Provide recommendation for approach and help local teams execute against chosen strategy. Develop and share best practices and ensure we develop the appropriate tools and technology to support our efforts.

  • CRM Strategy. Develop and execute our Hasbro CRM strategy to ensure we most effectively communicate with our fans via email and other future vehicles.
  • Technology and Product Roadmap Perspective. Provide input into technology roadmap and serve as key influencer for all marketing-related ecommerce technology decisions.
  • Budgeting. Assist with budgeting for global ecommerce team and provide input into market-specific ecommerce budgets.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in ecommerce and/or digital marketing, preferably supporting an omni-channel consumer brand

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • MBA preferred

Critical Skills:

  • Robust direct marketing / ecommerce experience and knowledge

  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters

  • Expertise in transforming a strategy and vision into actionable plans

  • Strong data analytics, reporting, and business modeling & forecasting skills

  • International experience and global perspective

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (ex. Excel, PowerPoint) applications and web analytics (ex. Omniture, Google Analytics)

  • Well-developed verbal, written, and presentation skills
