General Description We’re searching for a Sr Manager, Customer Segmentation and Targeting to join the Demand Generation Business Organization group at Samsung Electronics America. This position will be based in Ridgefield Park, NJ. The Mobile Demand Gen leadership team is hiring for the Strategy and Planning team! This role will report directly to the Sr. Director, Strategy & Planning. Critical KPIs include enhancing customer segmentation & targeting; driving sales for product launch; improving customer acquisition, upgrade and retention across all channels with precision marketing (CDM); improving marketing efficiency and helping us enhance our world class team.

Principal Accountabilities

•Analyzing and synthesizing customer, market and competitive data in order to translate findings into business insights and action plans to support enterprise performance •Translating the business requirements of key stakeholders into research briefs and survey designs •Creating survey instruments and collecting data using online survey tools or qualitative methods •Develop and presenting insightful presentations to the executive team that outlines significant changes in customer behavior and the marketplace. •Identify and leverage consumer insights for their brand in communication and product propositions. •Target audience definition: Analyze existing market research and shape the target audience definition. Craft simple and compelling value propositions that fundamentally address what experiences we should communicate to the target audience. Detailing the reasons as to why consumers should buy the product from Samsung.

Required Skills:

•BA Degreerequired, MBA a plus •Requires 8-10 years of directly related experience •Prior experience in Mobile or Mobile subscriber product management and business planning fields •Understands, experience with and ability to apply consumer insights analytic fundamentals (retail scanning, category insights data, brand-specific qual/quant research) to diagnose issues and opportunities •Intellectually curious and have the hunger to proactively and independently identify the opportunities where you can drive the most impact for the business •Highly organized/detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities •Experience in developing marketing and sales presentations, using Word, Excel and PowerPoint. •A passion for technology •Experience at top Technology or CPG company preferable
