The Senior Manager, Compliance Policy Management, Training & Integration administers compliance policy management, training and awareness, and compliance integration activities for T-Mobile’s Compliance & Ethics Program.
Under the direction of the Director, Legal Affairs & Compliance, this position is responsible for promoting and enabling ethical conduct and compliance with T-Mobile’s Code of Business Conduct and other legal and regulatory requirements. This position ensures that T-Mobile’s How We Play values and business conduct expectations are clear and communicated effectively to employees and that compliance education is effective and appropriately targeted and tailored to employees. The Senior Manager also guides and supports corporate departments and business units in integrating and remediating compliance program elements in their business operations. The Senior Manager’s responsibilities include providing leadership, direction, supervision and coaching to one or more instructional design professionals and compliance analysts.

Essential Functions

  • Understand the elements of an effective compliance policy design/management process and a compliance training and awareness program; regularly benchmark T-Mobile’s process and program against industry peers.
  • Develop and administer the process for managing compliance policies and procedures, including the maintenance and updating of existing policies and the development of new policies
  • In consultation with relevant stakeholders, develop and maintain compliance policy guidance, processes, and FAQs
  • Facilitate the introduction and implementation of new and revised compliance policies
  • Institute and administer an effective compliance awareness program, including heightening awareness among employees of compliance risks and policies
  • Assist with compliance training and awareness strategic planning
  • Institute and administer an effective compliance education program
  • Manage and continuously evaluate relationships with training and awareness vendors to ensure timely delivery of course material and other content and adequate support levels. This may include the development of future Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or similar procurement engagements with vendors in the training and awareness area
  • Collaborate with functional management teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs as well as the effectiveness of established training
  • Enhance business partnerships and provide leadership in guiding and supporting functional management teams in designing and incorporating compliance program elements into business operations, and in remediating identified program deficiencies
  • Prepare reports on the compliance training and awareness program and on the business integration program; develop, design and maintain customized senior leadership and business line reports
  • As a key member of an integrated Program, collaborate with other functional areas in the Program, including compliance risk assessment, program effectiveness, and compliance testing and monitoring
  • Independently manage special projects and develop workflows associated with assigned projects



  • Minimum 8 years of related experience, including at least 4 years of compliance, legal or training/awareness experience
  • Experience working with compliance tools, such as GRC systems, learning management systems, policy management platforms, evaluations, reports and dashboard reporting
  • Project management experience
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent collaboration and persuasion skills
  • Ability to plan strategically as it relates to the individual, team, and compliance & ethics department responsibilities
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive business information and to maintain high standards of confidentiality
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio and similar software programs, as well as general computer skills for daily activities and presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working in or with telecommunications or retail industry

Minimum Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree

License or Certification
CCEP, LPEC, OCEG certification preferred
PMP certification preferred
