You'll work closely with the Customer Care teams here at GoDaddy, creating reporting to optimize performance. You will be collaborating with the Marketing and Operations to drive revenue and customer engagement. You know and love working with analytic tools including Tableau and Excel, can write excellent SQL scripts, and can use your technical skills and creative approaches to solve the unique problems. You have experience with Big Data with preference in Hadoop. You'll take quick action based on your analysis and observations to shift chat focus as well as developing strategies for long term improvement

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of analysts/developer(s) in best analytical practices
  • Make recommendations on ways to measure the business
  • Code review to ensure the data recommendations are sound
  • Create dashboards and analysis to determine the best approach for our customer base, identifying opportunities of incremental sales
  • Be a key member of the Care leadership team working with Marketing, Product, Operations and front-line agents to identify trends and spot opportunities
  • Measure pipeline sales and customer interactions
  • Analyze, visualize, and provide insight on significant amounts of data and build end-to-end reporting solutions to support company initiatives. Use data mining techniques to drive campaign strategy, increase revenue and improve efficiencies
  • Build dynamic and rich dashboards using out-of-box features, customizations, and visualizations
  • Perform large-scale data analysis and develop effective models for segmentation, classification, optimization, time series, website behavior, etc
  • Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating findings to cross functional groups
  • Explore and recommend emerging technologies and techniques to support/enhance BI landscape components
  • Write and create custom reports

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or Mathematics
  • Ability to write efficient SQL statements (SQL, HiveQL)
  • 6+ years of experience with data analysis in a high energy dynamic environment
  • 4+ years of experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau and Excel preferred)
  • 3+ 3+ years of experience with BI in a customer care environment
  • Hands on and deep experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling
  • Ability to analyze data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies
  • Familiarity with outbound campaign strategy and design
  • Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights.
