Sales and Account Management Optimization (SAMO) is creating a newly formed team called the RFP-Contracting Center of Excellence (COE). The Center of Excellence will provide the backbone to both the Proposal and Contracting Teams with new, advanced technologies and processes that will lead to improved speed, accuracy, and sales win rates. We are recruiting for a Senior Manager to lead a team of 3 analysts that will support three new technologies, Seal, Apttus, and rfpio. The Sr. Manager will act as the business product owner for all 3 teams and will provide oversight of the implementation of the tools and processes including requirements definition/user stories, configuration, integrations with other tools, reporting definition. Once implemented, the business product owner will provide ongoing support to the rfp, contracting, and other organizations including technology enhancements, ongoing report development, analyses of data in support of the COE.
The Sr. Manager is responsible for day-to-day management of the team of analysts. They manages the performance and develops the feedback of the members of their team, including following through on annual performance review. Participates in evaluation and prioritization of customer/user requests. Serves as the champion for the Business Analyst role as the overall COE process matures. Assesses, develops and acquires talent. Assigns projects and work assignments to team members and directs activities, providing functional guidance. Ensures team assignments are completed within designated time frames and tracks and reports progress to upper management. Participates in process improvement and cross-departmental IT initiatives.
