The Brand Experience Strategy Senior Manager plays a critical role in leading CarMax’s brand experience evolution and is accountable for driving meaningful change to CarMax communications and experience across channels and throughout the customer lifecycle.
In this position, The Brand Experience Strategy Senior Manager will be tasked with developing new brand communications and/or experience plays to drive brand reach, resonance, engagement and word of mouth worthiness (NPS). They will be in the driver’s seat on marketing strategies to pursue opportunities and will courageously influence towards change that supports and drives differentiation of our brand. They should possess strong knowledge of company functions, initiatives, and performance and demonstrate domain knowledge of and expertise in a range of disciplines, such as consumer insights/marketing research, brand strategy, agile marketing, and service design strategy.

Identify opportunities to repair, enhance and innovate experiences central to delivering upon CarMax’s brand vision (60%)
Support projects with both Home Office & Field Leadership (20%)
Create a consistent and shared understanding of our customers (20%)
Strategic, cross-functional thinker with experience influencing at all levels Excellent analytical and organizational skills Show exceptional writing and communication skills Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at varying levels Work productively with little supervision Understanding of agile marketing methods and brand strategies critical to driving reach and resonance with target consumers Understanding of the customer experience ecosystem (digital and analog) and the role that customer experience plays in brand marketing strategy Familiarity with consumer insight and marketing research methodologies, with the ability to apply quantitative and qualitative approaches to understanding our customer and internalize strategic implications
