Overview

The Sr. Manager, Acquisition Engagement Strategy & Marketing works closely with technology and channel partners to implement the engagement strategy over email, text, phone and digital communications and drive new student acquisition through a contact strategy that focuses on the user experience.


Responsibilities

  • Help implement the engagement marketing initiatives and contact strategies, including email, direct mail, SMS Text, Phone and other new technology throughout the customer (student) lifecycle, by working closely with marketing partners, channels and Enrollment Operations.
  • Utilize data and research to improve marketing outreach to drive more effective prospective student response from consideration to enrollment. Create personalized student journeys across digital channels that provide a superior user experience and drive student acquisition.
  • Develop Creative Briefs to drive the stretagy and creation of necessary collateral to optimize the marketing communications across these channels.
  • Work closely with digital marketing channels and operations to implement plans and understand new opportunities available for future testing.
  • Continuously review marketing and communications materials to ensure content is current and adheres to brand guidelines. Maintain a contact strategy plan and calendar of communications, message and cadence each prospective student receives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization including brand marketing, all digital marketing channel owners, operations teams, legal and finance.
  • Communicate plans and results across all key stakeholders and key leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of marketing experience with a focus on driving engagement, nurture, conversion, and retention; OR

• High School Diploma and eight (8) years of marketing experience with a focus on driving engagement, nurture, conversion, and retention

• Effective written and oral communication skills at all levels of an organization

• Exceptional, proven operational management skills with experience in managing major projects

• Attention to detail and follow-through on execution

• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly to changes of priority

• Highly self-motivated, self-starter able to work independently

• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

• Strong lifecycle marketing experience and skills necessary to drive entire strategy for multiple customer segments

• Experience working with cross-functional teams; demonstrable experience in establishing effective internal relationships

• Thorough understanding of multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, print, video, web/mobile, social, SMS)

• Excellent quantitative skills, experience in developing dashboards, ad-hoc analysis and visualization tools.
