Role Summary: As the Sr Lifecycle Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the Digital Technology (DT) operations for the EPIS Engineering and TDI facilities, and guidance to the BGA&IS Power P&L. In this role, you will be part of the local leadership team to address the strategic and tactical DT issues. The role requires strong project, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The individual will report operationally to the site leader and functionally to the EVS Digital Technology Leader. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a variety of functions in the program management domain including delivery of multiple products, product areas, or platforms, management of issues, roadblocks, dependencies, overlaps, over-scopes, and communication management
  • Accelerate the brilliant factory road map by optimizing factory operations through introduction of advanced manufacturing technologies, improve machine monitoring and increasing productivity.
  • Leverage modern data integration and visualization tools to develop supply chain data and process analytics
  • Works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business
  • Communicates across direct organization and across the DigitalTechnology function in area of expertise
  • Presents to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross-functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy
  • Drive operations and strategy for all areas of IT including shop floor technology and applications
  • Evaluate opportunities within the shop and across the value stream to further the GE digitalindustrial journey
  • Evaluate new user technologies (office automation and collaboration tools, mobile devices, wearables, etc…) to improve overall employee experience and increase productivity
  • Partner with the other BGA&IS Power Site's DigitalTechnology teams to address Digital requirements
  • Engage, select and direct IT contract and vendor resources as required
  • Integrate and operate with other site DT leaders on initiatives that impact the Supply Chain sites
  • Coordinate with all remote CIO / CTO groups & technology services organizations on infrastructure upgrades, application roll outs, and operational support
  • Manage the site DT budget and planning
  • Focal point for site Data Security / Privacy procedures and processes Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology)
  • At least 5years ofexperience

    At least 5 additional years of experience with current information technologies and their implementation into the business function

  • Proven leadership skill in both business planning and information technology
  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS or other ERP applications with additional hands-on experience
  • Knowledge of networking, storage, and computing infrastructure

  • Able to use Six Sigma tools and techniques to drive change
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Capable and influential at project management
  • Quality and cost driven
