A global financial firm is seeking a Sr. Javascript Developer to join their team in New York. This candidate will join a team that delivers and supports a wide range of applications using common frameworks, tools and processes. Your team will be responsible for delivery of a repeatable, testable set of browser based and mobile solutions with a high degree of usability and attention to user experience and design. You will help develop UI to code and maintain applications across the portfolio. He/She must have expert command of modern JavaScript application patterns, libraries such as Angular, backbone.js and require.js, data visualization libraries such as HighCharts, HighMaps, and D3.js, and be able to deliver projects featuring well formatted HTML5 and CSS3 templates. 


  • Develop common UI components for re-use across the NY application portfolio
  • Collaborate with UX engineers and designers to implement markup/designs
  • Integrate and deliver functionality with backend teams during development life cycle
  • Ensure requirements are met throughout development efforts
  • Ensure code is in compliance with style guides and pattern libraries 


  • 5+ years experience with the following technologies:
  • Javascript design patterns (AMD, etc.)
  • Modern Javascript Libraries (Angular, Backbone, Marionette, Require, jQuery)
  • Expert level HTML/CSS
  • Bootstrap
  • Proven experience developing browser based InfoGraphics and Data Visualization projects using HighCharts and D3 (Charts, Maps, Interactive Graphics)
  • Hybrid mobile technologies (PhoneGap, Titanium, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of source control and build process for front end applications
