This position is responsible for managing various projects for the Human Resources Technology Department. Partners with different stakeholders to ensure project outcomes. Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, manages, and monitors projects from initiation through implementation.
Manages scope, changes, risk and quality.
Conducts project meetings.
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Assembles project team and assigns individual responsibilities.
Develops and maintains project plans.
Partners with Information Technology to align and manage expectations for development timeframes.
Responsible for driving issues to resolution and escalating unresolved issues to the leadership team in a timely manner.
Works with internal teams and vendors to ensure project documentation and requirements are captured, signed-off and delivered solution meets stated requirements.
Develops options and recommendations to drive critical decisions.
Measures and monitors progress to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed expectations.
Establishes project management processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects meet high quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
Provides clear and concise status updates and reports to various levels of the organization.
Responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsible for managing indirect staff.
Provides coaching and guidance to project team.
Ensures proper documentation is delivered with each project.
Performs other duties as requested.
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management methodologies
Experience with project and Microsoft Office software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively across organizational lines and to senior leaders
Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills are a must
Excellent critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments

Bachelor's degree or equivalent training, education and experience
Related Work Experience
5+ years of Project Management experience
5+ years of Technical Project Management experience
5+ years of HR Technology and/or related HR Systems line of business experience
