Job Summary:

Assists in establishing guidelines and programs that will provide direction other Departments and Markets follow in product portfolio and mix decisions. Self-starter able to analyze the problems and formulate solutions with minimal direction. Work well in a team environment and with other key leaders in the organization.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    1. MA/MBA with an Accounting or Finance emphasis strongly preferred

    2. CPA, CMA, or similar certification strongly preferred

    3. Cost Accounting or Manufacturing experience

    4. Understanding of basic product structures and product costing

    5. Understanding of Revenue/Cost/Margin structures

    6. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks timely

    7. Ability to analyze and understand problems and propose solutions independently

    8. Ability to read and understand financialreports and forecasting models

    9. Proficient in MS Excel

    10. Proficient in MS PowerPoint

    11. Ability to learn ERP and Cost Accounting systems

    12. Good communication skills, both oral and written

    13. Basic keyboard skills

    14. Ability to maintain confidentiality

    15. Ability to work well under time guidelines and pressure

Quarterly financial forecast accurate and complete

  1. Gather, consolidate, review the submitted budgets and communicates them to the Executive Committee
  2. Work with the Markets and Executive Committee to get the budgets set and the Compensation targets set
  3. Communicate the guidance, budget process timelines, and final budgets and targets to the markets
  4. Perform a comprehensive review of others’ work.
  5. Perform financial analysis in the areas of profitability, budgeting, forecasting; analyze market effectiveness, trends, and create best practices
  6. Analyze and reconcile internal reporting of key metrics to financial metrics
  7. Assist in the implementation of global forecasting processes and long-term forecasting processes (operating and capital)
  8. Assist in projects and communications with the regional controllers and market finance managers
  9. Create new reports (with very little guidance) with accurate and presentable data, clarifying results with graphs and tables when appropriate
  10. Revamp existing reports to improve functionality, accuracy, and presentation
  11. Review current pin inventory levels, create pin forecasts, and provide monthly shipment orders for each market
  12. Manage the Recognition pin process with little to no supervision and help develop annual budgets for recognition pins and manages the $3 million dollar budget
  13. Perform a comprehensive review of others’ work
  14. Analyze market effectiveness and market trends and the creation of best practices; analyze and reconcile internal reporting of key metrics to financial metrics.
