Key Responsibilities Include
· Guiding the accounting function for Amazon Studios content television and motion picture activities
· Developing, implementing and improving accounting processes and procedures for dynamic lines of business
· Managing and performing the month-end financial close accounting and financial reporting
· Ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting
· Providing analytical support to the finance and management team to drive improvements to operational & financial results
· Researching applicable accounting guidance to document and conclude on proper accounting treatment of unique contracts and business transactions
· Working with cross-functional teams across the company to ensure proper support for the business unit

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
· 5+ years of progressive Accounting Leadership experience with an emphasis in entertainment accounting.
· Strong understanding and leadership in the application of US GAAP, including ASC 920 and ASC 926


· CPA or equivalent
· Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
· Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
· Aptitude for information technology
· Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
· Exposure to researching accounting conclusions, documenting support for conclusions reached
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
· Successful managerial experience.
