The Senior Financial Analyst under limited supervision of the Controller assist with the daily operations of general accounting from the NCH Healthcare System.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements and other regulatory reports.
This position also coordinates the year-end audit, tax returns, allowances, and preparation of the monthly internal and external financial statements for the NCH Healthcare System and all related facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Other duties may be assigned.
Generates timely financialreports including the Board report and trial balance.
Coordinates the year-end audit including preparing work papers and provide assistance to resolve any issues.
Supervises the competition of all Federal and State Tax reporting requirements.
Analyzes bad debt allowance, contractual allowance, and net patient revenue.
Prepares variance analysis and reporting.
Prepares custom program profit and loss analysis.
Assures year end statements are prepared in compliance with all financials polices and GAAP standards
Responsible for implementing and maintain a system of internal controls that will ensure that the company assets are adequately safeguarded.
Provides technical accounting guidance and support to all corporate entities. At times, this may include involvement in due diligence and other activities surrounding acquisitions and divestitures.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accountingrequired.
Minimum of 5 years of experience.
CPA or Master's Degree preferred.
