The Production Support Engineering (PSE) organization has a Sr. EngineeringProgram Manager position available at the Phoenix Engines facility. This position includes leadership of PSE teams located at Engines. The successful candidate will beresponsible for leading a team of individuals who provide Engineering andTechnology (E&T)support to the Suppliers and IDOs that supply hardware to Engines. Tasks include management and development of the team, aligning the team to the priorities and needs of Operations, developing and executing a strategy to improve RTY and delivery as it relates to technical issues, managing to the approvedbudget and building strong relationships with ISC and Engineering COEs. Leads Engineeringsupport for Integrated Supply Chain at EnginesProvides dedicated Engineering resources along withMSEA and MCOEsupport to ISC for IPDS Phase 6 Production Support, RTY Improvements and Integrated Delivery System (IDS) special projects and activitiesResponsible for managing PSE MRBsupport at all AMOC sitesInterfacing with ISC (Operations, AME, QA, GS&I, Procurement), SBU’s,MSEA, MCOE, Engineering Test Services, and Product Integrity including Chief Engineers & FAA DERsServe as project execution focal and escalation point for all Engines and factory issues, problems, escapes and flow disruptionsCoordinates various approvals with core Project Engineering groups, FAA DERs and Chief EngineersResponsible for continuing to develop and lead the PSE team at EnginesProject coordination and prioritization with ISC and M&PMExecute priorities as defined by the Operations CentersGenerate BoE and project plans for projects and initiativesFinancial tracking and demand management, including resourceforecasting and allocationApply standardprocesses to ensure cost reduction, production flow, rapid problem solving and reduce customer escapesAlign funding and demand signals across ISC to generate a cohesive signal to engineering (CAM)Identify supplier development needs and engages subject expertsProvide manufacturing feedback to design COEs and PSE Strategic Process TeamDisciplined approach to rapid problem solving and thorough RCCAApplication of applicable APQP tools, methodologies, andprocesses to capture applicable product and failure mode knowledge and lessons learnedAdoption of key HOS methodologies such as Tiered Accountability, Rapid Problem Solving, Visual Management, Leadership Standard Work, Gemba and KaizenYOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10 years demonstrated experience in technical and leadership roles


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Demonstrated ability in driving Six Sigma, and has a proven track record of productivity improvements
  • Able to calmly deal with high pressure complex technical, production, and regulatory issues in an objective manner, developing/executing cross functional plans based on sound technical decisions
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries, builds relationships quickly, and deals with ambiguity
  • Previous experience managing remote relationships
  • Ability to flexible work hours to align schedule with people in different time zones
  • Advanced communications/ presentation/ leadership/ people skills are essential
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining data integrity and accuracy
  • High degree of focus on quality of work product
  • Ownership and accountability
