As a Sr Engineering Data Analyst, you will analyze, summarize and present information and data for discussion and decision making. You will combine data across multiple diverse platforms and data types. Work hand in hand with problem solving and development teams. Perform multi-level disaggregation of data to narrow the field of potential causes and provide insight into instrument and assay behavior. Provide detailed requirements to various Data Analyst teams to create routine reports including statistical requirements. Serve as an expert internal consultant on data management and data quality management. Advocate for improved Data Systems that bring Big Data to the users across the organization. What you will be doing:
You are typically assigned database and analytical initiatives, projects and programs of a complex nature in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. May work on significant and unique issues.Provide guidance, mentor, train, and coach others. May direct work of others as needed. Leads projects and teams, including project planning, scheduling and obtaining resources to ensure that objectives are met. Work under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment. Solve problem independently and assumes responsibility taking a leadership role as required.

What you will bring:
6+ years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree of equivalent combination of education and experience required. Black Belt Certification. Strong/extensive knowledge of data management systems such as SAP, Oracle and Beacon, LIMS and data quality management. Strong/advanced knowledge of data, databases, and their manipulation (SQL, Pivot Tables, etc); advanced Access, Excel, Business Objects and statistical software (JMP, Minitab, SAS) knowledge. Strong/advanced knowledge of statistical methods used for data analysis; SPC, descriptive statistics, basic statistical tests such as tests, ANOVA, MTBF, Confidence Intervals, etc. Solid understanding of good graphical display standards and various graphical techniques. Ability to quickly learn and leverage various software tools and systems. Ability to frame a complex diagnostic question appropriately, develop an analytical strategy, assemble the relevant data and results to clearly communicate a coherent set of conclusions. Demonstrated project management skills. Can lead own projects and manage or coach other’s projects from concept to successful implementation. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to present information to all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate, coach, mentor and resolve conflict. Strong leadership skills with experience influencing and motivating people at all levels and the ability to work with requestors to understand their true needs and to communicate complex analysis results to all levels of the organization. Results oriented self-starter, who can multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines with limited supervision; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
