We are looking for an electrical engineer to join our machine design team. We research, design, and develop equipment for our manufacturing and distribution partners that are one-of-a-kind solutions to challenges we face in our competitive environment. Our mechanical and electrical engineers work together with our project managers and location-based partners to identify the hurdles to be overcome, brainstorm options, and then build the automated machines to positively impact Hallmark's results.

We lead large cross-divisional initiatives tightly aligned with top corporate priorities, explore and implement industry-leading technologies that advance our product leadership position, and design and develop one-of-a-kind process automations to accelerate revenue and profit growth, all informed by best-practice end-to-end data analytics.

Our electrical engineers are responsible for the system controls (e.g. Allen-Bradley PLCs and RSLogix), safety controls, motion controls (servo, stepper, VFD), robotics, vision systems, power distribution (480V and below), communication networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus), HMIs, and barcode reading equipment.

They are also accountable for managing capital spending, designing systems, networking with our end-users, partnering with external suppliers and consultants, procuring parts, adhering to aggressive schedules, and working closely with our technician team. Their roles in implementation, start-up, debugging and troubleshooting, modification, documentation, and training are essential to our success.
