Position Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to support the Sirius Sales team by providing pre-sales support for networking products and services for new and existing customers. This position is also responsible for proposing and developing a wide range of technology solutions for Sirius’ customers.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Provides Sirius Sales Team with pre-sales activities in educating clients with Sirius products
• Prepares and delivers client presentations
• Provides product demonstration to include implementation/migration planning
• Develops product Bill of Material (BoM) based on client requirements
• Responsible for developing professional services estimates in support of client projects
• Technology Enablement Center (TEC) demonstration/briefings
• Develops solutions based on analysis of business and technical requirements
• Reviews client hardware configuration to ensure client meets necessary requirements for product upgrades
• Develops architecture and design of projects
• Performs account management duties to include research, problem solving, technical support, and general maintenance of client relationship
• Develops project scope to include work services estimate, services, resource assignments and allocations, and statements of work for assigned projects
• Partner Relationship Management – Develop healthy and trusted relationships with key partners in the geography
• Travel – Travel to/from clients, corporate events and training
• Prepares sales quotations and technical responses to Request of Quotation (RFQs) & Request for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs)

• All Sirius employees are responsible to safeguard the information and information systems that they use or handle in the execution of their duties. Employees are obligated to know and perform their duties in accordance with Sirius policies, standards, and procedures related to security and report security violations to the appropriate Sirius authority.
• Participate at hire and annually in the Information Security Awareness training as well as other required training identified by the Human Resources department. Other data privacy and data security related regulatory training may be required based on your role or assignment.

Requirements Position Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
• At least five (5) years of engineering experience with Cisco Networking Solutions Suite

Other Position Requirements
• Demonstrated ability to perform technical skills/knowledge transfer to client
• Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision, independently, and/or as a member of a project team
• Demonstrated ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous technical presales experience
• Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNP) certification
• Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDP) certification
• Cisco CCIE Certification
• Previous consulting experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of Networking Professional Services project estimation and scoping experience
• Experience with Netformx DesignXpert
• Experience with Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW)
• Specialization within a Cisco technical area (Collaboration, Data Center, Security, etc.) with the appropriate specialization certifications
