The SeniorDirector of Revenue Cycle isresponsible for thefinancial and clinical functions that contribute to the capture, billing, collection and management of patient service revenue. The SeniorDirector of Revenue Cycle isresponsible for maintaining and improving properly functioning revenue cycle processes through a cross-departmental organizational structure.Responsibilities and accountabilities include achieving periodic and annual goals for MBH relating to: Days in AR; AR aging greater that90 days; cash collections as a percentage of net patient revenue; denial rates; favorable customer service scores; bad debt; DischargedNot Final Billed (DNFB)targets; OP Show rates; % ofclaims billed daily; front end collections as a % of Net Revenue; Charge Capture Rates; and Late Charges >5days.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- BS in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration required
- 5+ years in Behavioral Healthcare accounting experience, with increasing levels of management responsibility
- LeanSix SigmaExperiencepreferred
- Demonstrate knowledge of financial systems (EPIC experiencepreferred)
