This position will lead inbound technical Product Management for the Oracle Integration product – prioritizing and managing feature development in the backlog, authoring the design specifications, and ensuring that the product is bringing the right functionality to customers and the industry at the right time.

Responsibilities and qualifications:

This position will own drive the product definition and inbound technical product management team for Oracle’s integration product. This team will improve the execution efficiency through developing and managing the backlog of functionality, determining the right features to drive to make the product and broader Oracle successful through collaborating with other teams, and developing detailed functional plans so that the right functionality is brought to market the first time.

The ideal candidate has managed large-scale cloud services and has worked on integration cloud products and technologies. They are familiar with design patterns involved in integration and integrated cloud products as used by medium and large enterprises.

The ability to identify the key customer scenarios and market value that drives key decisions, lead cross-functional teams to an innovative solution is key.

Senior leadership level experience in cloud products in technical program management/product management for 7-10 years, working with executives, and hands on design and ability to drive specifications/designs as required, and experience managing PM or Engineering teams is expected.
Some travel between US engineering centers may be required.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements:

Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a Senior Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications.

Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important.

Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience preferred.
