  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • CPA certification
  • 8+ years of diversified experience in accounting and financial reporting applying knowledge of GAAP
  • 6+ years of progressive and applicable management experience that is aligned with the business and leadership of a high growth entity that has >$50M+ in revenue
  • Extensive understanding of financial reporting and the relationship to cash flow
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial concepts within financial forecasts and plans
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a matrixed structure
  • Demonstrated experience using systems, including automated finance/accounting programs and spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction to team members

  • Experience using Peoplesoft, Hyperion and/or Concur systems
  • Experience working in a public accounting environment

Impact You'll Make:

  • Support the business unit's financial goals and strategies by providing management of the domestic and international accounting functions, including GL, AP, AR, billing, expense management, asset management, sales commissions, revenue recognition and tax management and compliance.
  • Lead the business unit's monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close and related reporting; provide data to corporate Accounting department for company roll-up
  • Provide input towards the company's audited financial reports that meet GAAP standards
  • Assess and implement necessary levels of internal control to eliminate risk exposure and comply with SOX requirements
  • Manage billing and revenue recognition processes utilizing the TU billing system
  • Collaborate with corporate resources related to system requirements and conversions
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly financial forecast modeling process for a growing business unit; report performance results against financial projections to the business unit executive team and corporate Finance department
  • Lead the annual and quarterly budget process for the business unit; assess and manage submissions in conjunction with projected results
  • Develop and maintain financial models to assist management with understanding results
  • Participate in strategic planning for the business unit, including providing input on customer contract pricing, margin contributions and cash flow analysis/management
  • Assure accurate tracking and reporting to support cross-functional relationships and positively impact business unit growth and profitability
  • Lead the Accounting and Finance team related to the completion of responsibilities; establish annual goals that can contribute towards career development and growth
