What You Will Get To Do:
- Build and manage effective teams supporting brokerage solutions alternative investments and the evolving ecosystem these products are creating. In this role, you will identify, develop and typically create demand for the organizations products and services by working with your peers, clients and prospects.
- This role will grow our Brokerage business for Alternatives while working with various sponsors on the distribution of these products, as well as managing our operations teams tasked with supporting these offerings.
- Ideally you will achieve this with high performing teams focused on client business models and need for operational excellence. This will include regular interaction with clients and other teams contributing to overall support needs of clients.
What You Will Bring:
- Leadership for Alternatives across the enterprise.
- Own and lead vision, strategy and operational excellence for our Alternatives Services.
- Liaison for alternatives across the organization – focusing on intermediaries and growing that business by connecting with the various groups within SS&C supporting alternatives in the asset management world.
- Drive alternative product from enterprise perspective understanding what is needed and be able to structure solutions to benefit clients.
- Accountable for strategic operational management, automation and attaining operational service excellence for alternative investment products.
- Meet with executives and upper management at client organizations to understand and grow our offerings and share this information with key executives in our organization
- Collaborate with internal teams on automation initiatives to decrease risk and expense for overall operational teams.
- Extensive knowledge and proven experience managing all facets of Alternative Investments, including offerings, lifecycles, challenges specifically with regards to benefits and impacts to broker/dealers
- Operations management in the financial services/mutual funds/alternative investment field in broad based account management and business development with operational focus
- Proven track record in operational excellence with high performing teams meeting or exceeding established service level agreements
- Superior knowledge of multiple operations functions and principles in the alternatives field, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management
- Agile leadership skills and deep strategic planning experience
- Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics
- Ability to manage multiple high priority items at one time

Compensation for this role will be between $170,000 - $190,000 annually with eligibility for annual discretionary bonus and equity options in addition to the full comprehensive benefits package.
