The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) is seeking a resourceful and magnetic Senior Director of Member Engagement & Development for Brands. In this exciting role, you will work closely with the entire digital media and marketing ecosystem, focusing on building relationships and membership within the brand community. You'll play a key role in growing IAB's brand membership and helping brands engage across IAB's work product to drive the industry agenda.
What You'll Do:- As the Senior Director of Member Engagement & Development for Brands, you'll:
- Manage a portfolio of current and prospective brand members, developing strategic relationships to drive engagement and revenue growth.
- Develop and execute a member engagement strategy, including engagement calls and email campaigns, to prompt optimal involvement.
- Lead member engagement initiatives by building deep, multi-faceted relationships with assigned members, facilitating their involvement beyond revenue goals, such as public policy.
- Promote and sell IAB sponsorship opportunities, training, and certification programs to drive revenue.
- Partner with and collaborate with the IAB Events team to ensure integrated member experiences.
- Manage all aspects of membership sales, including maintaining a pipeline of inbound leads and executing a sales strategy.
- Interface with IAB members, partners, and industry leaders to gain market intelligence and inform marketing and communications strategies.
- Conduct sales calls, successfully converting prospects into IAB members, and leading the onboarding process for new members.
- Oversee the CRM membership database, ensuring data integrity and tracking member engagement metrics.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and member movements via industry trades, committees, and conferences, following trends and opportunities.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to enhance overall team performance.
Who You Are:- You are a creative thinker and storyteller, skilled at engaging members with innovative approaches.
- You have 10+ years of direct experience in sales, account management, and member engagement.
- You have experience working cross-functionally with teams and can engage at all levels of a member company's executive suite.
- You are comfortable presenting to large audiences and love educating and speaking in public.
- You have experience selling revenue-driving packages across multiple offerings.
- You can articulate the value of products and services effectively to diverse audiences.
- You have a deep understanding of the digital media landscape and knowledge of the advertising technology, publishing, and social media sectors.
- You are highly skilled in project management, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a proactive approach to work.
- You are a proficient communicator with excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, and are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (Salesforce), and video conferencing platforms.
