Sr. Director, IT Franchise Operations

Responsible for effectively leveraging technology and systems within the Franchise organization. Provides thought leadership in IT strategy, operations, cost-optimization, innovation and efficiency improvement.
Provides overall direction and technical guidance for the operational activities pertinent to the franchise organization and their associates in the pursuit of maximizing growth and profitability while minimizing costs.
Develops long-term vision of technologies and solutions specific to a franchise organization’s requirements.
Collaborates with IT leadership in the planning and implementation of technology roadmaps.
Assists the team in researching solutions, solicits input from outside industry experts and recommends solutions to meet the franchise organization’s business requirements.
Negotiates with key stakeholders involving the prioritization of projects and resources.
Drives efficiency improvement by providing technology support and training and assisting the franchise business operations in the use of information systems.
Provides detailed guidance to multi-functional teams in a matrixed environment through project planning and other large collaboration efforts.
MA / MS or combination of education and experience equal to 12-15 years.
Prior years of experience in leading teams.
Experience with IT strategic planning.
Experience managing budgets of up to $10M.
Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning that meets consumer needs or solves business problems.
Proven ability to execute large transformational projects.
Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
