The Sr. Director -Procurement serves as an integral member of the Transformation, Strategic Sourcing, Strategy and Supply Chain management team. In addition, the Indirect Procurement Sr. Director provides procurement advise and related services to all functional organizations with the objective of acquiring the required goods and sevices at the most competitive price that delivers a competitive advantage for the company. Competitiive value includes; managing Total Cost of Ownership, market and supply base assessments, developing cross enterprise requirements by partnering and colaborating with senior business stakeholders, development of strategic sourcing strategies, and managing internal alignment with senior managers and executives throuhout the procurement process. Effectively communicates a procurement point of view on complex procurement issues, challenges and topics. The Sr. Director is viewed as a subject matter expert by senior management and a respected business partner. Indirect Procurement has taken and will continue to be a key contributor to enterprise wide cost reduction initiatives that result in overall spend effecencies/effectivness, leveraging/rationalizing our supply base and streamlining our processes while gernerating on-going competitive value for the company. Indirect Procurement is responsible for the on-going management of over $2.0+ billion of annual spend across the entire spectrum of indirect procurement spend categories, such as; Information Technology and Telecom – which includes software, hardware and services, Supply Chain – which includes, transportation and logistics, and cross functional procurement services for Labor Services, HR Services, Marketing, Facilities, Finance, and Retail Operations. Indirect Procurement plays a key role in assisting functional leadership to meet and exceed their business objectives and targets. The role oversees the development and execution of procurement policies and sourcing strategies including the setting of targets, timelines and resource plans.


Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred

Minimum 10 – 15years experience in related field

Established professional with broad business experience, strategic partnerships with business units, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Policy and Tools Expertise is highly desirable

CPSM Preferred

Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Ariba

* Must be capable of leading all aspects of Procurement Strategy

* Drives development of optimal strategies for indirect spend categories

* Deep understanding of Procurement best practices, supply markets, suppliers and products

* Detailed knowledge of the sourcing process including various sourcing strategies

* Advanced understanding of pricing models and contracts terms

* Advanced knowledge of e-sourcing tools
