Job Description

Develop Seqirus Portfolio Global Market Access strategy to drive leadership in market development, shaping, and pricing execution

  • Develop and support the global value proposition of Seqirus products from early development to commercialization
  • Work collaboratively with Policy, Government Affairs, Corporate Affairs to ensure seamless integrated market access and identify commercial implications of pending legislation

HECON:

  • Provide leadership to projects that identify, structure, and implement integrated commercial Market Access strategies (including HECON modelling and results, Publications, Payer presentations) that ensure broad payer coverage for Seqirus products
  • Collaborate with Regions and Countries Marketing and Market Access teams on pull-through strategies, tactics, and budget
  • Ensure HECON and Publication strategy aligned with Global Brand Strategies and Plans
  • Maintain Seqirus Corporate image with relationships with leading payers or public health stakeholders

PRICING:

  • In close collaboration with key Country/Region CommOps teams develop Global pricing recommendations and strategies for tenders and bids
  • Collect, synthesize, and analyse industry/competitor price and trends to help inform Pricing decisions
  • Develop infrastructure (tools, systems, databases) to maintain pricing trends, history, to allow analytics and inform decision-making
  • Lead Global Pricing Committee

Oversee Strategic Planning process and develop near/long-term insights based on an understanding of internal capabilities, and competitor and industry trends

  • Lead the New Products/Innovation team to conduct strategic research on external trends, market developments, competitor actions
  • Position Global Commercial Development as the “face” of strategic intelligence for the organization - a strategic consultant and business intelligence expert to senior management and business unit leaders across Seqirus regions and sites
  • Develop organizational capability for Global Commercial Solutions that support Region/Country CommOps teams (data warehousing, competitor intelligence, forecastingtemplates/tools, Communication strategy)
  • Leads the Strat Planning processes to develop the 10-year Long Range Forecasts by working with Regions, Countries and cross-functionally with R&D and Operations and Finance
  • Lead the CommOps processes and analytics for annual Portfolio Prioritization
  • Contribute to market research, pricing analysis, financial models built for acquisition or in-licensing decisions, as needed
  • Ensure New Products team develop plans and timelines for products in early stages before products enter Core Teams or Brand Teams
  • Represent Global CommDev on task forces or workgroups related to new product assessments
  • Proactively assess new growth opportunities or emerging risks related to in-line portfolio
  • Interact with other stakeholders (R&D, Business Development, Regions/Countries) to ensure market and sales forecasts and assumptions of Seqirus portfolio are properly documented

Contribute to Global Commercial Development & Policy leadership team

  • Lead, inspire, and engage with passion by modelling Seqirus and CSL values
  • Work with a sense of urgency to achieve organizational goals
  • Motivate the team to deliver results through meeting and/or exceeding Workplan objectives
  • Serve as the Leadership Team Secretary and lead Team operations (meetings, off-sites, workshops)
  • Cultivate an atmosphere of cross-functional collaboration and reciprocal communication that creates a winning environment and inspires all to hold themselves and others accountable for delivering excellence
  • Responsible for the implementation and execution of all Company policies as well as compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s in Business Administration required
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech (Brand marketing, Global marketing, Market Access, Strat Planning, or General Management)
  • Prior Management Consulting experience highly preferred
  • Prior line management and managerial experience
  • Experience working in Country/regional office preferred
  • Prior experience working in matrix fashion with R&D, Finance, Med Affairs
  • Prior experience with external stakeholders through Market Access or Policy work highly desirable
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to lead teams in driving performance
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience managing and coordinating multiple strategy projects
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior commercial leadership and confidently defend informed recommendations
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and strategic thinking skills
