About this opportunity
The Sr. Director, Global E-Commerce Business is passionate about leading and managing Align’s end-to-end E-Commerce strategy and day-to-day operational execution. This person is responsible for increasing revenue, profit and expanding market share for our growing E-Commerce business by finding and introducing new products and creating consumer demand. The ideal candidate is self- motivated, demonstrates excellent strategic and creative thinking, has strong analytical capability, experience in driving customer and consumer engagement, and is a team player with the ability to work closely with regional, cross-functional teams. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer, but will also engage actively with the Global Marketing organization. The role will be located in Phoenix, AZ.
In this role, you will…
Deliver revenue, profit and market share for E-Commerce products
Maintain ownership of P&L and responsibility for Align’s E-Commerce business and website strategy
Develop and execute a strong business plan, partnering closely with regions on E-Commerce strategy and products
Collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners in product, sales, marketing, legal, regulatory, R&D, IT, and logistics to manage and support the strategy, design and development of E-Commerce programs globally. Position E-commerce as a global strategic priority
Manage external vendors such as Amazon and other 3rd party E-Commerce sites and collaborate with marketing and creative teams on agency relationships
Partner with marketing and innovation teams to develop and deliver a strong new product roadmap. Collaborate closely with regional teams on commercial programs to drive E-Commerce.
Develop a digital web strategy to increase customer acquisition and retention channels by maximizing website traffic, SEO, conversion and retention
Anticipate market opportunities and challenges by evaluating customer insights/data and competitive benchmarks, and by staying informed of upcoming E-Commerce trends and technologies
Refine and grow the Company’s proprietary e-commerce platforms. Improve UI/UX to make for a seamless customer experience
Lead and develop teams by supporting and nurturing employee development through collaboration and teamwork
In this role, you’ll need …
BA/BS degree required, no limitation on major. MBA is a plus
Proven track record with more than 15 years in a progressive E-Commerce career
Commercial savvy and ability to influence regional, cross-functional teams
Strong understanding of Align’s business model; grounded in the Company’s purpose and values
10+ years people management experience; proven leader of building, leading and managing teams globally
Visible leadership skills and executive presence; demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think analytically and strategically and effectively communicate a vision
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-starting, hands-on mentality, able to influence without authority and work independently while involving relevant stakeholders
Results oriented and customer focused with a high level of agility and accountability
Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth global matrix environment
