The Senior Director of Digital Program Management is a key leader within the Strategic & Digital Marketing group, which manages Gartner’s brand programs, content marketing and digital experiences. The Senior Director is responsible for the delivery of high-profile initiatives that will deepen digital customer engagement and drive better results. Responsibilities will also include streamlining how internal partners leverage the Strategic & Digital Marketing practices by improving/streamlining work intake, promoting common tools, and capacity planning.
The Senior Director will partner closely with the VP, Digital Experience and the VP, Content to define the roadmap for the evolution of the Gartner digital ecosystem, beginning with the redesign of Gartner . The Senior Director will take a hands-on approach to ensuring that multiple teams across Marketing are working to execute the roadmap, prioritizing strategic aspects, and ensuring the overall success of the effort.
What You Will do:
Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize work streams related to the strategic goal of improving Gartner’s digital ecosystem
Provide program management for multifaceted digital improvement effort, coordinating large work streams in UX, content strategy, marketing, and technology
Manage and communicate status with senior stakeholders to ensure that expectations remain align with program progress and/or are adjusted accordingly
Formalize and enhance communication within Strategic & Digital Marketing to streamline the intake process across practices (i.e. paid media, creative services, web and content)
Own the operational delivery of the Gartner redesign, a large, complicated effort that spans multiple working groups and involves numerous senior executive stakeholders.
Prepare and distribute the top-level strategic planning documents that keep all major work streams on point and on track to deliver on strategic priorities for the new digital ecosystem
Own and update key dashboards relating to user behavior, KPIs, and site performance metrics that are relevant to the digital upgrade
Identify, institute, and manage governance efforts in the form of steering committees, stakeholder groups and/or working teams that support the overall digital improvement program
Institute a continuous delivery program that will improve the speed to market of upgrades to the digital experience
Identify, recommend and implement operational strategies to improve the ability for teams within the Strategic & Digital Marketing group to work in tandem with optimal efficiency
Identify, recommend, and implement strategies to leverage technology to replace manual tasks and direct some efforts to lower cost geographies.

What You Will Need:
7-10 years of program management or operations experience, ideally in a marketing role
5+ years of experience with digital marketing platforms (e.g, AEM, Eloqua, etc)
Strong stakeholder management skills, priority-setting capability, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to effectively develop and build new functional and operational processes
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data
Team-first orientation with the ability to influence actions of others without direct authority
