We have an exciting opportunity to join the Web Hosting team to advance the web infrastructure operation toward the scalable and cloud ready vision through automation, DevOps and Site ReliabilityEngineering (SRE)

You would be responsible for managing the GMI web infrastructure on the Microsoft technology stack. Primary responsibilities include operational excellence, infrastructure design consultation and implementation for new systems, and future state improvement through automation and DevOps. Our motto is to automate and enable full self-service as a private cloud provider.




  • Evaluate new technologies and vendors to improve the management, scalability, and uptime of our environment
  • Build tools and automation to manage, standardize, and accelerate processes
  • Work alongside our development, application release & deployment, and middleware teams to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot application deployments
  • Investigate and resolve complex and multi-faceted issues, spanning the entire technology stack, which require working across teams and technology boundaries
  • Proactively improve site reliability and key metrics, such as up-time, application performance, time to issue resolution, time spent resolving incidents and other key operational SLAs


  • Passion in learning new technology and creatively solving challenging problems
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Web platform or Infrastructure support roles
  • Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 configuration
  • Experience supporting IIS in an enterprise environment, including Windows Kerberos Authentication and delegation to SQL Server and other services
  • Understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, F5 load balancing, and the OSI model
  • At least one of the competencies below:
    • Proven track record of automating medium to large scale workflows with automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell DSC, Puppet, SCCM, or other automation tools
    • Prior development experience on .Net Platform with ability to review code for memory leak, performance tuning etc or knowledge of debugging tools like WinDBG, NTSD, ADPLUS, or Debug Diag
    • Strong Windows Server configuration and management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Team player, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work autonomously


  • Monitoring tools such as SCOM, Elasticsearch, Dynatrace
  • Experience Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, Service Fabric
  • Experience of working with Azure, Amazon AWS, Rackspace, or other leading cloud provider
  • Understanding of service discovery tools such as Consul, Etcd, Zookeeper
