Our Direct Hire Technology Practice is currently searching for a Sr. Database Engineer to join a company in the Baltimore County, MD area. This is a FTE career opportunity. 

 

Job Description:

The Sr. Database Engineer is responsible for the development and support of stored procedures, user functions, SQL Server Reporting Services reports and SQL Server Integration Services packages/processes, and data mapping and database/table design.

 

Job Requirements: Candidates should understand and have a proven track record with:

?        Minimum seven (7) years of experience using SQL Server 2012/2014/2016, SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services.

?        Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services preferred.

?        Strong SQL Query, ETL and Data Architectureexperience.

?        Knowledge and ability to write advanced T-SQL code.

?        Knowledge of building reporting dashboards.

?        Ability to troubleshoot SQL code.

?        Ability to design tables and/or databases to suit reporting needs.

?        Expert knowledge of data mapping and database design.

?        Ability to interpret report requests and requirements in order build appropriate automated solution.
