IAI is currently seeking an Sr Cyber SME to help support SMC. The candidate leads and organizes the supports efforts to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) for EGS instantiations in support of the HEO Operations Migration to EGS (HOME) rapid prototyping project.  The Sr Cyber SME also supports the achievement of EGS Cyber Security strategies, and the implementation of EGS requirements and designs in support of other SMC customers.


Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

Cybersecurityexperience working with DoD and/or Intelligence Community (IC) space system acquisition programs

Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD / IC cybersecurity requirements, policies and best practices

15 or more years planning, designing, developing, integrating, testing and/or deploying secure information technology and cybersecurity solutions


  • Experience with:

    ·Building ATO packages in eMASS or Exacta

    ·Identifying, planning and documenting improvements to security controls

    ·Developing and documenting recommendations and courses of action to solve complex cybersecurity problems

    ·Planning and installing new or modified security hardware, operating systems, and software applications

    ·Assessing and implementing identified computer and network environment fixes such as system patches and fixes associated with specific technical vulnerabilities as part of the Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management program

    ·Guides the implementation of appropriate operational structures and processes to ensure an effective cybersecurity program, including boundary defense, incident detection, and response

    ·Certifications:  Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Security Requirements:Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information up to the Top Secret/SCI level
