Supports the development, preparation and maintenance of Configuration Management (CM) Program supporting documentation to include Government Configuration Management Plans (CMP), Configuration Control Board (CCB) Charters, Data Management Plans, Configuration Audit Plans and Intellectual Property (IP) Strategies. Coordinates CRP development through Organizational FRABs (Functional Requirements Authentication Board). Prepares CRP Document Summary Lists (DSL) and coordinates Data Item Description (DID) selection. Prepares and controls CM technical data baselines. Supports the development and preparation of CM and Data Management (DM) CRP (Contracts Requirements Package) requirements and Contract Data Requirement Lists.
Facilitates and coordinates engineering change activity reviews and disposition via Government CCBs and review and track configuration status accounting information against approved engineering change activity. Supports the planning and conduct of Functional and Physical configuration audits. Reviews drawing, models, and associated lists for compliance to contractual standards. Provides technical expertise and implementation of data management functions. Reviews data deliveries for conforming distribution statements, export control warning labels, copyrights legends and allowable data rights markings. Prepares and conduct technical briefings in support of technical interchange meetings, IPTs, and major program reviews.
Supports acquisition, development, production and sustainment programs by planning, coordinating, and reviewing configuration items and managing/coordinating data deliverables. Evaluates technical data and change control documentation for formatting, completeness, and adherence to project specific requirements, industry standards, and DoD directives. Provides data management guidance and assistance to integrated product teams, and data management deliverables. Ensures technical documentation specification quality of Interface Control Documents, and engineering drawings documenting the functional, allocated and product baselines. Participates in formal technical reviews such as Preliminary Design Review and Critical Design Review, and facilitates execution of functional/physical configuration audits.
